Jennifer Lopez Looks To Make The Future Of MLB Ownership More Female

A-List actress Jennifer Lopez says that owning the New York Mets would be amazing for her. More importantly, extremely beneficial for MLB to have a strong woman in a position of power. Lord knows that this world needs more women in power. Men having been abusing it for far too long. Both Lopez and beau Alex Rodriguez have been focused on trying to buy the team from the Wilpon family. The two have raised millions of dollars from high profile investors in the hopes of closing a deal.

They say it takes a village to raise a child. It takes a Jennifer Lopez to make a permanent mark on the future of female leadership. It would be a beautiful thing to see Lopez as an owner of an MLB franchise like the NY Mets. “Listen, in this day and age, that would be something that would be so amazing,” Lopez said. “So of course I am for it.”

I said it once and I will say it again. Men in America have been belittling women and abusing their power for far too long. Finally, it is time for PERMANENT change.

I am not a Mets fan by any measure, but this is far bigger than fandom. Having a female, like Lopez, owning an MLB organization would be huge for the future of women in power. I know it doesn’t mean anything, but regardless Lopez has my vote. I do have to say though, I am not a fan of A-Rod. However, who cares. Do your thing, J-Lo. I am rooting for you 100%.
