Damian Lillard Seemingly Throws Shade At Russell Westbrook’s Met Gala Fit

Russell Westbrook’s outfit was trending again after the Lakers point guard made an appearance at the Met Gala on Monday night.

Not that it was the first time we’ve seen Westbrook donning a skirt, but fans were quick to lament the entire obscure outfit he had going on.

As Russell Westbrook was going viral over his Met Gala fit on Monday night, Damian Lillard took to social media to slam the outfits people wear to the event.

“If what mfs wearing to the MET Gala is considered having “style” … then I’m burnt out,” Lillard said on Twitter.

Both Damian Lillard and Russell Westbrook have been dominating the NBA for a while. But now, both careers are at a bit of a crossroads.

For Westbrook, it was an abysmal season being made out to be the scapegoat for the Lakers not reaching their championship aspirations. And injuries plagued Lillard — keeping him on the shelf for the 2021-22 season.

Now, both Damian Lillard and Russell Westbrook will look to get back to their old ways next season. But one thing is for sure, they do not have the same sense of style.
