Candace Parker Celebrated Sky’s WNBA Championship With Chicago Staple ‘Portillos’

There’s nothing like an Italian Beef sandwich from Portillos.

WNBA star Candace Parker took her Sky teammates for a celebratory trip to her favorite fast food following the team’s historic win on Sunday, and the restaurant she chose doesn’t get much more Chicago than this. On Sunday night, Parker’s victory meal was the perfect choice. After plenty of champagne Candace was hungry for something delicious.

“We pulling up to Portillo’s. We’re on our Giannis Antetokounmpo stuff,” Parker said as she live streamed her team placing their order.

Her comment is a reference to when Antetokounmpo went to Chick-fil-A, trophy in hand, to celebrate his victory.

Parker has said before that her go-to order is a breaded whitefish sandwich, not their famous Italian Beef sandwich, but we won’t hold it against her.
