Tyler Herro was also said to have addressed frontline workers, thanking them for all they have done in the aftermath of the terrible collapse.

According to reports, at least three people were killed, and over 100 people are still unaccounted for after a 12-story condo building in Sunrise, Florida collapsed at around 1:30 AM on Thursday morning.

“This is 12 miles from our arena,” said Steve Stowe, Heat vice president and charitable fund executive director to ESPN. “We heard about this, and our immediate reaction was that we had to find a way to help.

Tyler Herro and the Heat weren’t the only Miami sports team to step up in wake of the tragedy. The Marlins also sent aid to the condo building.

“These are the moments when a community has to come together, rise up and help,” Stowe said.
