Tom Brady Shared Special Moment With Alex Smith After Beating WFT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has seen a lot of stuff throughout his lengthy NFL career. I’m not sure if he’s ever seen something as inspirational as what Alex Smith was able to accomplish this year, though.

Smith suffered a gruesome leg injury in 2018. He had to go through emergency surgery just to save the leg, and at one point was in danger of losing his life.

He worked his way all the way back to the NFL, played for Washington this season, and even made the playoffs. It was a story for the ages, and even Tom Brady had to give praise. Brady sought out Smith after defeating the Washington Football Team on Saturday, and shared this moment him.

“Hey, I’m so f—ing proud of you, bro. You’re f—ing unbelievable, you know that? You are a f—ing inspiration to all of us. You’re unbelievable. Always here if you need me.”

“I appreciate that,” replied Smith. “Go get it.”

Tom Brady also caught up with rookie pass rusher Chase Young, who each shared respect.

“Hey Chase. Way to play, bro,” Brady said.

“I appreciate you,” Young replied. “You the real GOAT. I need something from you though. I need something from you though.”

“What do you need?” Brady inquired.

“I need this off you [referring to Brady’s jersey],” answered Young.

“I’ll get it to you. I’ll send it to you,” Brady told him.

Tom Brady and the Bucs will face off against the New Orleans Saints in the divisional round this weekend. As for Alex Smith? He’s taking a few weeks to contemplate his future. Obviously he has nothing left to prove.
