Tom Brady is Officially Retiring

Many saw it coming, but Tom Brady, 44, is officially retiring.

After 22 seasons, 243 regular season wins and 35 postseason victories leading to 7 Super Bowl rings, number 12 has decided to retire.

Adam Schefter of ESPN announced via social media Saturday afternoon that multiple sources have told him that Tom Brady is going to retire.

Brady left the New England Patriots after the 2019 season and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he would go on to win in the first season with the team.

Brady led the Bucs to a 13-4 record, but lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL Divisional round matchup last Sunday.

It was expected that Brady would take his time to announce his retirement, but it will come less than a week since getting eliminated.

Pittsburgh Steelers long-time QB Ben Roethlisberger also announced his retirement earlier this week after his 18 year career.

As much as so many people hate the guy, he will go down as one of the best to ever play the game.

He was the first QB to ever throw for 700 touchdowns, postseason included.He currently holds the all-time NFL marks for completions, attempts, passing yards, and passing touchdowns.
