Tom Brady Debuts The New Buccaneers Uniforms As The Final Nail In The TB12 Era Coffin For Patriots Fans

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released the first look at a player in their redesigned uniforms and it also just so happens to be the first glimpse at a Tom Brady Buccaneers jersey:

I feel like that last black uni comes a little too close to the aging veteran Cap Rooney before he’s replaced by Willie Beamen in Any Given Sunday:

But if you ignore the “Mom says we’ve got NFL licensed jerseys at home” general vibe the new uniforms bring, it does look pretty badass to see a Tom Brady Buccaneers uniform. I could see these growing on me. A little generic but futuristic and slick looking enough. And if the team starts hot with a juggernaut offense, that certainly wouldn’t hurt the overall vibe the uniforms bring. You can’t be a losing team in these new unis. But if you’re 9-0, even the old Tampa Bay creamsicles would look like a strong shift.

Meanwhile, Pats fans will get to spend their season wondering if Adam Vinateri is somehow playing quarterback for their team with the look their presumptive starter Jarrett Stidham brings:

Even though a game in the new season has yet to be played, it’s hard to argue that the jersey battle doesn’t reflect a 1-0 scoreboard for Tom Brady versus the Patriots.
