Texas Rangers Getting A Bunch Of Backlash After They Announced Fans Can Return At Full Capacity

The Texas Rangers are keeping up with the state’s general decision that the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

On Wednesday, it was announced that the Rangers would be opening up their entire ballpark to fans on Opening Day April 5th.

BREAKING: The Rangers are officially opening Globe Life Field to fans for the 2021 MLB season.

Stadium will be at 100% capacity for the home opener and will then be at a slightly reduced capacity with “social distancing pods” in April and May. More information to come.

While it’ll be nice to see fans at MLB stadiums again after a full season where we listened to fake crowd noise and looked at cardboard cut-outs in the seats, I’m not sure full capacity is the move.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Texas in the wake of them deciding to basically open up their state like we haven’t seen since early 2020. On the flip side, it’s possible that the Rangers don’t even sell out regardless of the fact that they’ll be the only team in America to open their doors to a full capacity crowd.

Yeah, the Texas Rangers are that bad.
