Yeah, that’s what happens when you spend all offseason living it up instead of getting ready for the next season. James Harden’s lifestyle of partying with rappers isn’t necessarily conducive to playing in the NBA. Harden was most recently spotted at rapper Lil Baby’s birthday party instead of reporting to Rockets training camp on time. He had to clear all COVID protocols prior to competing in his first game, hence the delay.

The Houston Rockets have said that they would like to move forward with James Harden as a part of their future, despite his trade requests, and we’ll see if he remains adamant about wanting out of Houston.

If Harden continues to show that he isn’t interested in being all-in on playing basketball, then I’m not sure a contending team will send a haul in order to acquire the all-star guard.

James Harden appears stuck in Houston, for now.
