Baker Mayfield Explains Why He’s Been Dropping Pop Culture References in Postgame Interviews

A football season can be long, and to keep things interesting, guys create fun little games in the locker room. That could be a number of things. For the Browns, it’s about messing around in post game interviews. Cleveland Browns Quarterback Baker Mayfield has been dropping some dime quotes the last several weeks. Baker has been quoting  Lil Wayne and Dwight Schrute as of late.

And it had people wondering what the hell he’s doing.

Baker sat down for an interview with ESPN’s Keyshawn Johnson, and explained why he’s been doing it.

“There’s a thing going on in the QB room to have to slide in a certain quote or there’s a fine I have to pay.”
