Simone Biles Admits Status For Remainder Of Tokyo Olympics In Question After Withdrawing Due To Mental Health

Simone Biles hasn’t looked quite the same at the Tokyo Olympics, and she’s admitting that it might have something to do with her mental health.

After a so-so qualifier, Biles struggled during her vault competition. After scoring her lowest score ever, Biles walked off with medical personnel.

Shortly thereafter, it was revealed that Simone Biles had not been injured, but was just struggling through some mental health stuff.

Simone Biles spoke with reporters briefly after her team finished without her, and ended up winning a silver medal during the event.

She admitted she was contemplating her status for the rest of the olympics following the disappointing start mixed with all the emotions she’s currently going through.

Despite her initial comment, BBC is claiming that Simone Biles will be ready to go for Thursday’s competition.

Hopefully Simone Biles can work through whatever she may be going through at this time. I’m sure we’ll hear more soon.
