Shohei Ohtani Missed Start Against A’s Due to Traffic Jam

Baseball players are just like us; they too have to deal with the grind of getting to and from work. Unfortunately for Los Angeles Angels star Shohei Ohtani, he didn’t have such a great commute, as he was scratched during Thursday night’s game ahead of a scheduled start. Ohtani got stuck in traffic in San Francisco on his way to face the Oakland A’s.

Ohtani, unfortunately, faced another transit issue as he was unable to get to the game on time for pre-game warm-ups.

It is with great sorrow to report also the BART employee who called the OCC to confirm the Ohtani delay was en route to catch BART to go to the Coliseum to see Ohtani pitch. We are hurting too by this news.

Ohtani was able to get to the Coliseum and DH while having his start pushed to Friday instead.
