Seahawks Waive Undrafted CB Kemah Siverand For Disguising A Woman As A Player And Attempting To Bring Her Into A Team Hotel

Undrafted Seattle cornerback Kemah Siverand was a reach to make the Seahawks roster. He made the decision pretty easy with his recent antics that violated team protocol. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Siverand attempted to sneak a woman into the Seahawks team hotel. One thing we can’t say about Siverand is that he’s not bold. But, wow, what a way to kiss your chances at making the Seahawks, or any NFL team, roster goodbye.

I haven’t seen any photos or video, so it’s difficult to say how valiant Siverand’s effort was. However, he clearly wasn’t fooling the Seahawks. This is a scene straight out of She’s The Man. If somehow it was Amanda Bynes that he tried to sneak in then props to Siverand. Otherwise, this feels like a pretty boneheaded idea. Soccer players are much different in stature than football. I really want to know how one disguises a woman as a Seahawks player. He definitely didn’t dress her up in a DK Metcalf jersey, that’s for sure.

If any other undrafted players want some advice on how not to make an NFL roster during a pandemic, just do this. This story has one moral that is alarmingly clear. The Seahawks have an open roster spot and they need to fill it with a corner who is better at disguising coverage. I don’t think Siverand’s attempt could have fooled Jameis Winston. I wish there was video evidence of this, but maybe it’s best left to our imaginations.
