Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa Shoots His Shot On Country Star Shania Twain And He Does Not Come Up Empty Handed

Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa admitted in an interview that he considers country star Shania Twain’s music to be a guilty pleasure. Tua also openly stated that Twain is his celebrity crush. “Shania, if you watch this, from this moment on, please message me back,” said the rookie quarterback in the interview. Tua’s plea did solicit a response from Shania, but likely not the one he was looking for.

It’s too early to say much about Tua the NFL quarterback, but we do know that he is not lacking in the confidence department. To Shania’s point, if he were really confident in himself, he wouldn’t feel guilty about his taste in music. In Tua’s defense, he probably just doesn’t want people wondering if he feels like a woman. The rookie quarterback has to gain respect from his peers in the NFL, so I don’t fault him for not flaunting the fact that he gets down to the music of Shania Twain.

I’m not a big country fan, but I don’t have an issue with the quarterback’s taste in music. In fact, it probably bodes well with the ladies (and there are plenty of them in Miami, that’s for sure). I do have an issue with his food taste, though. Tua said in the interview that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and elected Subway as his spokesman for provolone cheese. The quarterback’s taste in music might come to his aid when courting the women, but smelling like Subway definitely won’t.

I really hope the 2020 NFL season doesn’t get put on hold due to the ever-looming COVID-19 concerns, but if it does, at least we will get to see Tua at 100% when he makes his debut. I think a quarterback of his caliber deserves that at the very least. Although, he does have some bulking up to do if he wants The Rock to play him in a movie.
