Olympic Swimmer Katie Ledecky’s Milk Challenge Was Impressive But She Has A Competitor

Gold medal Olympian Katie Ledecky recently went viral for swimming with a glass of milk on her head. She didn’t spill a drop. If you haven’t seen it, it was very impressive. But she has a challenger. Synchronized swimmer Bill May responded to Ledecky’s feat with a challenge of his own. Check it out.

How much chocolate milk do you think has been spilled in the past week? I’m lactose intolerant, but it’s definitely much more than I could consume. Ledecky’s feat was pretty incredible, but May showed up the gold medal swimmer … with his feet.

For all the haters out there that joke about swimming not being a real competitive sport, give this a shot. I couldn’t do it if I tried. Synchronized swimming is impressive enough as it is, but May took the sport to the next level. To be honest, I was really missing the Olympics this year. However, Ledecky, and now May, have scratched that itch for me.

It may look easy to the untrained eye, but try spinning around upside down underwater. I’m very competitive, but I can guarantee you that this is something I couldn’t do. Swimming is hard enough already. No need to make it any more complicated. Having said that, I am very impressed.  And I still miss the Olympics.
