While many think this clears AB for the future, that might not be the case.
Pro Football Talk asked a league spokesman what the settlement means for the pending Personal Conduct Policy investigation, and got the vague response of, “The matter remains under review.”
The league suspended Brown for eight games last season before he joined the Super Bowl Champion Bucs, but that was related to other infractions throughout the receiver’s checkered past. They still have not reprimanded AB for this matter.
Antonio Brown remains a free-agent, but has expressed interest in returning to Tom Brady and a Tampa Bay team that looks like the front-runner to win the Super Bowl yet again.
