Manfred notoriously called the trophy just a “piece of metal” when he justified not stripping the Astros of their 2017 title due to sign-stealing. Muncy and the Dodgers won’t forget being cheated.

If it weren’t for the Astros cheating, they might have multiple championships by now. Nevertheless, they can rest easy knowing they’ll forever be the 2020 World Series Champs.
