LSU Receiver Koy Moore Shares Scary Story About Being Violated By The Police At Gunpoint

LSU wide receiver Koy Moore said police harassed and violated him on Saturday night. The freshman receiver took to Twitter to share a statement detailing the events of his stop. In his statement, Moore claimed cops approached him with their guns drawn, insisting he had a weapon and drugs on him. He said he was literally scared for his life. “Last night I was approached by a policeman they pulled guns on me assuming I had a gun and drugs, (screaming where’s your gun?) I was violated numerous times even going as far as trying to unzip my pants in search of a weapon that I repeatedly told them I did not have. As I tried to go live for video documentation of the harassment they snatched my phone. I could’ve lost my life and I know for a fact nothing would’ve happened to the guys who did it.”

“We need a change!” Koy Moore said in the caption. The next bit is painful, but the truest part of his statement. “As some celebrate the election of a new president understand the real problem have not changed,” Moore wrote. “If I didn’t tell those incompetent officers that I was an LSU football player there’s no telling if I wouldn’t been here to tell the story! Yesterday wasn’t a victory for America it was only a distraction.”

LSU head coach Ed Orgeron said on Sunday that he is aware of Koy Moore’s allegations and added that the Baton Rouge Police Department is now investigating the recent incident.

This isn’t just happening at LSU, this is America. As tragic as it is, this is much larger than Koy Moore. We need a change and we need it now.
