Kyrie Irving is keeping it all in the family.

The Brooklyn Nets star has reportedly been looking to hire new representation, and on Thursday, Kyrie landing his person.

With this hiring, it’s a historic moment.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Kyrie has hired his stepmom Shetellia Riley Irving as his agent. What makes this historic is the fact that Irving is reportedly now the only black woman in the league to be representing an NBA player.

“Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving has hired Shetellia Riley Irving as his new agent. Shetellia Riley Irving is believed to currently be the only Black woman representing an active NBA player.”

This is a huge deal for the NBA, and good to see Kyrie practicing what he preaches.

Irving could be back to full-time play soon with NYC backing off it’s vaccination mandates.
