DK Metcalf Has Horrendous Showing In Celebrity Softball Game After Comparing Himself To Hank Aaron

DK Metcalf is one of the most athletic men on the planet. So we all thought he was going to tear it up in this week’s MLB Celebrity All-Star Softball Game.

Metcalf appeared to be pretty confident at one point, too. About a month ago, DK was asked who he would compare his baseball game too.

“Hank Aaron. The late, great Hank Aaron,” Metcalf laughed via NBC Sports. “Kinda subtle, but very, very good at his craft. We’ll see when I step in the batter’s box during the game.”

During the Celebrity All-Star Softball Game, Metcalf looked like he was trying to hit the ball as far as Hank Aaron. But he consistently came up empty.

After his awful showing, DK Metcalf clapped back at some of his critics on social media.

Of the entire field in the softball game (which included some pretty un-athletic people), DK Metcalf was the only guy to strike out.

While I’m sure Metcalf can hold his own in many different sports, I don’t think baseball or softball is among them.

Do we give him a pass for comparing himself to Hank Aaron?
