Kurt Warner Getting Roasted For A Freezing Cold Take About Where Playoff Games Should Be Played

NFL legend Kurt Warner spewed a take yesterday that had fans everywhere downright offended. After the elements played a factor in the Ravens-Bills game, Warner shared his thoughts on why games should not be played outdoors in the playoffs. Warner thinks that every single playoff game should be played under a roof.

“Can we just play every playoff game inside? I know that’s a part of football. I don’t like it when we come to the biggest moments of the season and the elements become a part of the mix. I want the best team to be able to advance and all the elements to be the exact same for every team,” Warner said on the NFL Network Pregame Show.

Warner talks about how playing inside can lead to the “best teams” not winning while referencing the Ravens game. I mean, how can anyone watch that game and say the best team didn’t win? The Bills are a better team than the Ravens top to bottom, and they were the more deserving team to advance to the AFC Championship games.

Kurt Warner would take to Twitter to defend his take, and condemn people for how they lashed out at him.

Yeah, let’s chill on aggressively coming at Kurt Warner over something he said. As for the take, I do think he’s way wrong. Playoff football is simply better when the elements play a role. Hence, why home field advantage can be so beneficial for cold-weather teams.

Hell, I want to watch a snow shower in the playoffs. Respect Kurt Warner and his take, though.
