Jose Canseco Getting Blasted For Seemingly Taking A Dive During Boxing Match With Barstool Sports Intern

Ex-MLB star and noted face of PEDs Jose Canseco is trending because of his performance in an exhibition fight on Friday night. Canseco took on a Barstool Sports intern who goes by “Billy Football” and lasted just about 15 seconds.

Canseco’s awful performance and overall disinterest led many to believe he was only there to pick up his paycheck, and had no real intentions of winning the fight. Even Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy called out Canseco, claiming the former slugger took a dive.

Jose 100% took a dive. We paid half up front and he got double if he won. We thought that would ensure he’d fight. We were wrong.

Jose Canseco got paid in insane amount of money just to basically walk into the ring and walk out. Nobody should really expect anything different from the guy, though. He’s made a living off of cheating and doing anything he can to make a situation better for himself.

I sincerely hope this is the last time Jose Canseco gets paid to box, or do anything else for that matter. We’ve seen that he’s not really serious about anything but getting richer.
