Joakim Noah Seems To Be Enjoying Retirement Life Just Fine

Joakim Noah was let go by the Clippers on Tuesday, and his agent announced that would likely signify the end of the road for the big man. Bill Duffy (Joakim Noah’s agent) sent out this statement.

“What an illustrious career for Joakim, starting with two national titles at the University of Florida, to becoming an NBA Defensive Player of the Year and ultimately evolving into one of the most passionate, spirited players to ever come through our sport,” Duffy told ESPN on Tuesday night. “It’s been my honor to represent Joakim through his journey.”

Joakim Noah appears to be at peace with his retirement, posting this Instagram story earlier today. In this story, Joakim is donning his high school basketball shirt.

Noah also enjoyed a trip to Hawaii recently.

Yeah, it seems like Joakim Noah is doing just fine with retirement. Noah was on pace to be one of the best defensive players in the league for a long time. However, injuries prevented him from reaching his full potential.

Bulls fans will always remember Noah for his tenacity and commitment. He was simply one of the toughest mf’ers in the NBA. After the Bulls, Noah made stops with the Knicks, Grizzlies, and Clippers, but could never stay healthy.

Can you imagine if Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose would’ve stayed healthy their whole careers. Would the Bulls have won a championship? We’ll never know.

Best of luck in retirement Joakim.
