Jeff Passan Throws Down the Hammer at Stephen A. Smith Over Racially Insensitive Ohtani Comments

Stephen A. Smith is still trending following some racially insensitive comments, and many at the network have responded with some anger. Mina Kimes took major offense to Stephen A.’s remarks, and she made sure to throw some shade his way.

Now we have some more backlash over the highest paid ESPN employee’s comments.

MLB insider Jeff Passan dropped the hammer during a First Take segment this morning, and the best part is, Stephen A. had to sit there and take it all in. During an appearance on First Take, ESPN reporter Jeff Passan says Shohei Ohtani ‘left behind everything he knows to pursue the American dream’ and that the show ‘should not be trafficking in ignorance’ following widely criticized comments made by host Stephen A. Smith on Monday.

Stephen A. always traffics in ignorance, it seems that’s what he does best.

Stephen A. is definitely going to be walking on egg shells for a while.
