New Footage From Jaxson Hayes’ Arrest Shows Him Telling Officers He ‘Can’t Breathe’

NBA center Jaxson Hayes was under fire during the early stages of the offseason when it was revealed that he was arrested following a potential domestic disturbance call.

But as Hayes was not booked for any such crime, he was later arrested for resisting arrest. The video shows him being manhandled by police before being tased.

The LAPD opened an investigation into the officers who arrested Jaxson Hayes for “excessive force”.

A new video released on Friday had some more troubling details from the Jaxson Hayes arrest.

While he was wrestled to the ground, Hayes can be heard telling officers that he couldn’t breathe.

It definitely looks like police officers might have taken it too far with Jaxson Hayes here.

LAPD Chief Michel Moore told press that the Hayes case involves “the possibility of force being applied to the suspect’s neck during the use of force in taking him into custody.”
