Jason Varitek’s Wife Slams Yankees Fan For Spitting On Her 9-Year-Old Daughter

Jason Varitek’s wife is not amused. The New York Yankees – Boston Red Sox rivalry took an ugly turn this weekend as some fans apparently crossed the line. Wife of Boston Red Sox legend Jason Varitek, Catherine Varitek, took to Twitter to explain what happened to her family outside Yankees Stadium. According to her, some Yankees fan spit on her daughter because she was wearing her father’s jersey.

It wasn’t so much the curse words that bothered her, it was the vile and vulgar act of someone spitting on her child.
