James Harden Writes An Emotional Farewell Letter To The City Of Houston

After lots of drama and rumors, James Harden was finally granted his request to be traded away from Houston. Despite the conflict, the beard wrote an emotional farewell letter to Houston. Harden says that he is forever indebted to his home for the past 9 years for not bringing them the Finals trophy he is chasing. The breakup was far from amicable, however, Harden had only good things to say about the city that he grew to know and love.

“This organization, this city has given me everything I could ask for and more. Before the scoring titles long before MVP, you believed. For that I am forever indebted.”, James Harden wrote.

Harden continued his message, ” The city opened its arms and welcomed me and my family as one of its own and for that I am forever indebted. I gave my mind body and soul in hopes of bringing the glory to the city. I fell short and for that I am forever indebted. It’s far from a goodbye as I pay all my debts. TMC H Town!”

Breakups are never easy, but Harden didn’t let go of the city he loved for so long without letting them know how much it meant to him. Now he moves on to join superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn. James Harden has expressed his excitement about another opportunity to play with KD, and he wouldn’t do so if he didn’t think they had a chance at contending for a title.

Harden will have a lot to prove now that his wishes have been granted and he got the blockbuster trade he was looking for. Many people, like Shaq, are saying it’s title or bust this year for the new big three in Brooklyn. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that, however, good luck outscoring those three when Kyrie returns to play.
