Is James Harden Really Just Modern-Day Dennis Rodman?

James Harden likes to party, Dennis Rodman liked to party, so there’s a clear connection between the two all-time NBA greats.

After Harden was spotted living it up in Vegas instead of joining Rockets training camp on time, many on social media were quick to compare him to Rodman.

Yeah, I see the comparison, but I’m going to have to call BS on the whole “James Harden is just Dennis Rodman” thing. James Harden is a relatively normal guy who likes to party. After watching The Last Dance, I think we all saw that Rodman is a legitimate psychopath. What Rodman got away with, Harden would never be able to do nowadays.

Rodman also won five NBA Championships during his time in the NBA, Harden will never get close to that number, and he probably won’t ever even win one. Harden has been trying to get traded to a contender, but so far, interest has been minimal.

Harden might see himself as a cool Rodman type of guy, but he will never reach the legendary status of savage or success that Rodman was able to achieve in the NBA. Keep trying though, James.
