Front Runner Emerges in the Deshaun Watson Sweepstakes

Deshaun Watson is inching closer to being on a new team.

Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo did their best to filter out all the conflicting reports today, and according to the NFL reporters, there are four teams in contention for Watson’s services.

One of those teams is a clear frontrunner.

It was reported earlier in the day the Atlanta Falcons became the dark horse in this race to acquire Watson.

The Saints chances of playing meaningful games in December can be greatly improved with Watson under center.

Of course Sean Payton is no longer there, so who knows how the team will fare with or without Watson as their QB.

Hopefully this Watson situation can be resolved sooner than later.
