Floyd Mayweather Claps Back At Logan Paul Over Potential Exhibition Fight

Floyd Mayweather has been retired from boxing for a while now, but he is still a master in the art of trash talk. Rumors about a potential exhibition fight between Floyd Mayweather and YouTub star Logan Paul have been buzzing all year long. Paul’s representatives approached Mayweather about the fight earlier this year. However, Floyd Mayweather hadn’t said much about it publicly until now. Mayweather sent out a tweet Wednesday night with some classic trash talk, saying he would gladly give Paul the “McGregor treatment.” Check out what Floyd Mayweather had to say below.

“These YouTube girls better find some Barbie dolls to play with cause I’m not the one for the kid games. 3 years ago a fighter from the UFC said my name and I had to put a muzzle on that bitch. (Logan Paul) can get the same treatment before I go conquer Japan again,” Floyd Mayweather wrote.

Talk of the exhibition fight between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul had died down a bit, but Paul continued to hint on YouTube that he would be open to fighting the boxing legend. Paul posted a video online claiming he would “snap Floyd Mayweather in half”.

“If I caught Floyd in a real fight? I’d whup him. MMA? I’d whup him,” claimed Logan Paul in the video on TMZ. “The only place Floyd is safe is the boxing ring.

“I would fight Floyd Mayweather any time, any place. If I caught Floyd with one punch, I would snap him in half.

“I’m eight inches taller, 40 pounds heavier, half his age, two times as hungry, 10 times as smart.”

Oof. Logan Paul talks a big game for an amateur. We are talking about Floyd Mayweather here. A 50-0 professional boxer who is widely regarded as among the greatest of all time, pound-for-pound.

I don’t think anyone believes the fight will actually ever happen, but in the meanwhile, I have enjoyed the banter.
