Doug Pederson Being Spotted At Bears Training Camp With Coaching Staff Leads To Speculation

Is Doug Pederson the newest member of the Chicago Bears coaching staff?

After things ended poorly for the former Super Bowl winning coach in Philadelphia, Pederson didn’t take a job immediately after being fired following last season.

But as Bears head coach Matt Nagy was walking into Training Camp on Friday, he was joined by Pederson, who was dressed in all Bears attire.

I have no problem with the Bears bringing in Doug Pederson, just as long as he doesn’t sub in Foles for Fields in the 4th quarter.

During practice, Doug Pederson was seen working with several members of the Bears offense.

It’s kind of funny to see Doug Pederson photographed with Nick Foles behind him. After the two teamed up for the Super Bowl championship in 2017, things have gone terribly wrong for both men.

Foles is now hoping to be traded away from the Bears, where he’s currently the third string quarterback. And Pederson was the scapegoat for the Eagles’ demise.

Perhaps Matt Nagy just brought in Doug Pederson as a guest for today’s practice. But it’s also possible that there’s a plan for him to be the newest member of the staff.
