Zach LaVine Appears To Be Recruiting Dejounte Murray To The Chicago Bulls

Zach LaVine is ready to finally build a winner with the Chicago Bulls. And it looks like he feels that Spurs guard Dejounte Murray might put Chicago on the right path to do so.

Murray and LaVine have been hanging out at Team USA camp this summer, and it appears that LaVine thinks his team has a shot at landing the much-needed point guard.

Recently, The Athletic reported that Dejounte Murray would be “gettable” in a trade this offseason.

Shortly thereafter, Bulls fans posted a photoshopped picture of Dejounte Murray in their teams’ white road jersey.

Zach LaVine was quick to “like” the image on his Twitter account.

While Dejounte Murray has not spoken publicly on the rumors, he posted an extremely cryptic message to his social media account.

Last season, Dejounte Murray averaged 15.7 PPG to go along with 5.4 assists and 7.1 rebounds. Any team would be happy to acquire Murray’s services, especially a team like the Bulls – who have a clear void at the point guard position.

If the Bulls want to be taken seriously next season, they’re going to have to get busy in the offseason. Adding Dejounte Murray to a backcourt with Zach LaVine would be a good start.
