Mike Tyson Claims He Did ‘Nasty Stuff’ With Prison Counselor To Reduce Jail Time

When Mike Tyson faced jail time in 1992 after being accused of raping a beauty pageant contestant, he only served three of the four years on his sentence.

Now, Tyson is opening up on why that may have been.

In an interview with Vlad TV, Mike Tyson speaks on getting written up by the prison for cursing and other bad behavior. But he also says that he was still able to get out early because he developed a sexual relationship with a prison counselor.

“Next thing you know, I’m dating one of the counsel workers now, she’s letting me have sex with her now.
So by passing the GED (General Education Department) they took that year (added year) away,” Tyson explained, via John Hutchinson of The Sun. “So I flunked the f—ing GED and got mad, and so I had to start dating this counsellor and stuff, giving her money and doing really some nasty stuff to her, and she let me pass this test.”

At one point, Mike Tyson was supposed to be in prison for the rest of his life. To this day, the boxing legend still feels lucky that he only had to serve three years.

“I came in with 50-something [years]
They cut it all the way down to three years,” Tyson said. “I was doing 69 at first—they gave me 63, no. Then they took 10 off, then it was 53. And then they gave me 10, I had to do three, I got seven on parole, I guess, yeah.”

Mike Tyson is now 54 years old, but his good shape has allowed him to dip back into the ring for some exhibition boxing matches.

His last one was against longtime rival Roy Jones Jr, where the two fought to a draw.

Mike Tyson had been in talks with Evander Holyfield for another bout, and we’ll find out if that ends up happening or not.
