Alvin Kamara Has An Answer For Tennessee’s Head Coach Vacancy

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is one of the best Tennessee football players in recent memory. Even with a bad program, Kamara managed to collect 1,977 yards from scrimmage and 24 all-purpose touchdowns during his Volunteers career.

After Tennessee fired head coach Jeremy Pruitt “for cause”, Kamara had a solution.

“Somebody photoshop me in neyland with a coaches headset on…” he wrote on his Twitter.

Sure enough, someone pulled through for Kamara.

Alvin Kamara has better things to worry about than dealing with the dumpster fire that is Tennessee football. The team has not been competitive in the SEC in a very long time, and they probably won’t be any time soon. It’s too bad, too, because Tennessee has a very rich history of being a proud football school.

As for Kamara, he’s one of the top-five running backs in the entire NFL. With Drew Brees seemingly headed towards retirement, it’ll likely be the Kamara show in New Orleans for the short term future.

Alvin Kamara finished the season with 932 yards rushing and 756 yards receiving. As long as the Saints have Alvin Kamara and Sean Payton, I wouldn’t bet against them.
