Dave Portnoy Beefing with Mets Owner Steve Cohen Over Robinhood Stoppage

Portnoy versus Cohen is something to watch. The Stock market is going bananas today, and it all started on Reddit. A group of reddit users were pumping up stocks so much, that it’s been raising a ton of questions on what is legitimate trading. Robinhood Markets and Interactive Brokers joined a growing group of firms blocking the trading of stocks that have run up rapidly the last week due to the splurge on certain stocks. Shares of GameStop and AMC plunged more than 40% after the stoppage.

Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, is a bit of trader himself, and wasn’t happy about Robinhood’s stoppage. He even got into a major twitter beef with New York Mets owner Steve Cohen.

Then he threw in the Mets owner’s name into the mix.

Even some famous names chimed in:

Just when you thought things would normalize when Trump left the office.

Portnoy seems to really enjoy the stock market more than sports these days, which is ironic, because if not for sports, he’d have no money to even put into the markets.

Twitter beefs are always fun to watch.
