Cubs Anthony Rizzo Rocks 2 Chains And Has Himself A Day At The Plate Against The Cleveland Indians

Anthony Rizzo is one of the most likable players in all of Major League Baseball. Despite his former battle with Hodkin’s Lymphoma, the man is always smiling. Like him or not, there’s no denying that he’s one hell of a baseball player. Rizzo rocked a new look in Wednesday’s game against Cleveland. I’m not sure if he’s been listening to some 2 Chainz or what inspired the look. Whatever he’s doing, he should keep it up.

I’m biased as a Cubs fan, but I absolutely love Anthony Rizzo. He was the first piece in the Cubs rebuild that ultimately led to a 2016 World Series Championship. And he hasn’t faltered. As I said, it’s nearly impossible not to like this guy.

Also, the necklaces aren’t Rizzo’s only new look. The Cubs first baseman hit the weights pretty hard during the extended offseason and it shows. He’s looking more cut than ever and it has definitely shown in his appearance at the plate. Rizzo went 2-4 with 2 runs an RBI and a walk to lead the Cubs to a two-game sweep over the Cleveland Indians. He leads the 12-3 Chicago Cubs with 4 home runs, a .235 batting average, and 6 RBIs. This MLB season still doesn’t feel normal to me, but man have the Cubbies been fun to watch.

There are so many things to love about this Cubs team, but ‘2 Chainz Anthony Rizzo’ is currently my favorite thing. Rizzo recently celebrated his 31st birthday and has been on a roll at the plate ever since. The Cubs have not dropped two consecutive games this season. If they keep that up they will finish, at worst, 9 games above a .500 record. If you haven’t watched ‘2 Chainz Rizzo’ and the Chicago Cubs yet this season, tune in. They are baseball’s most exciting team right now and they don’t look to be slowing down.
