Danny Amendola Throws Bill Belichick Under the Bus

There’s a lot of talk about who was responsible for all the success the New England Patriots had during Tom Brady’s tenure with the team. Was Bill Belichick responsible for creating the dynasty, or is Tom Brady the reason the Patriots went to 9 Super Bowls? What is the Patriots way?

Former New England Patriots receiver Danny Amendola shares his thoughts on who’s really responsible.

“None of those coaches threw any passes, caught any of those passes…They didn’t tackle. They got us in the right positions because they watch a lot of film and they spend all their time in the facility. But Tom Brady is the Patriot way, and that’s why Tom Brady is in the Super Bowl and the Patriots aren’t,” Amendola said.

Tom making it back to the Super Bowl with the Buccaneers is definitely tarnishing Belichick’s legacy.

And his former players clearly picking sides with Tom isn’t helping either.  You really can’t fathom Tom winning Six without Belichick, but you also can’t see Belichick winning six without Tom.

This is one debate that’s going to never be answered.
