Cole Beasley Blames NFL Rules For Keeping Him Out Following Positive COVID Test

Way before the NFL season even began, Bills receiver Cole Beasley made himself the biggest voice for the unvaccinated.

He often took to social media to slam the league over their differences in protocols for the vaccinated and unvaccinated players in the league.

With the new wave of COVID sweeping the nation right now, it was announced recently that Cole Beasley has tested positive. And because he opted not to take the vaccine, he’ll have no chance of playing in Sunday’s game against the Patriots.

Almost immediately, Cole Beasley took to Instagram to blame the NFL league rules for keeping him out of the pivotal game.

“Just to be clear Covid is not keeping me out of this game,” Beasley said on Instagram. “The rules are. Vaxxed players are playing with Covid every week now because they don’t test. One of my vaxxed teammates is in the hospital missing games. I’m sure he didn’t get this same energy. Thank you for those who support. Everyone else, if you don’t get what’s happening then there is nothing anybody can do for you.”

Cole Beasley will die on this hill of slamming law-makers and the NFL for having rules in place that favor individuals who choose to take the vaccine. But at the end of the day, the league is likely going to keep their stance on making life easier for the vaccinated players.

The Bills will hope to have the slot receiver back prior to the Week 17 game.
