Another disastrous season for the Chicago Bears somehow keeps on getting worse.
Bears head coach Matt Nagy is on the hottest of hot seats, but the Bears have never fired a coach during the Season. Now there’s a new report about the dysfunction going on. Via Bears insider Hub Arkush, Justin Fields was named the starter back in Week 5, and apparently that decision came from team chairman George McCaskey, not Matt Nagy.
Nagy wanted to stick with Andy Dalton.
“Bears chairman George McCaskey directed the Bears coaching staff to name Justin Fields the permanent starting quarterback before the Week 5 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, multiple sources tell Shaw Local’s, Hub Arkush.
Just now on the show, @Hub_Arkush said according to his sources that it was George McCaskey who instructed the team to name Justin Fields the starting QB. #Bears https://t.co/rdRIBS35Xbhttps://t.co/2CwoqblZvq

Justin Fields left his past Sunday’s 16-13 loss to the Ravens with a Rib injury.
Dalton will start today’s Thanksgiving game against the Lions.
What a sh*t show.
