Chad Wheeler Releases Statement After Domestic Violence Episode, Admits He Needs Help

Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Chad Wheeler was the subject of a lot of turmoil on social media after it was revealed that he ‘strangled’ girlfriend over the weekend.

Now, Wheeler is speaking out. He released a statement on his Twitter, claiming that he is retiring from football to seak out the help he needs.

“Events happened over the weekend that transpired from a manic episode.  I am deeply sorry for the pain and suffering that I have caused to Alleah and her family. I apologize profusely for the turmoil that I have caused to my family, teammates, fans and those closest to me. The most important thing right now is that Alleah gets the care she needs and I get help.  Both are happening,” Wheeler wrote

“It is time for me to walk away from football and get the help I need to never again pose a threat to another. I cannot express my sorrow or remorse enough. I am truly ashamed.”

Chad Wheeler was reportedly surprised his girlfriend was alive after his beat down. Sure, the guy probably has some mental health problems. But that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be locked up for a very long time. This guy simply needs to be behind bars.
