During Tuesday’s Euro 2020 match between Germany and France, an interesting moment occurred when Germany’s Antonio Rudiger appeared to bite France star Paul Pogba at the end of the opening half.

The video is somewhat inconclusive, but Paul Pogba sure acts like he just got bit in the shoulder by Rudiger.

Former Manchester United and Arsenal captains Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira were working as analysts for ITV during the game, and speculated on what Antonio Rudiger was doing to Paul Pogba there.

“I think it was more of a nibble, wasn’t it, than a bite?” Keane said. “A silly thing to do.”

Vieira said: “When you see the Pogba reaction, he felt like a bite. I do not understand what he was trying to do that.”

Paul Pogba was complaining to the official for a good while after the bite, but there was no penalty from the play.

We’ll see if the Euro 2020 committee looks into the supposed bite by Antonio Rudiger to Paul Pogba.
