Colombian pop star Shakira, 45, and FC Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, 35, have announced their split after 12 years of dating.
The couple met in 2010 on the set of the music video “Waka Waka”, which was the official 2010 FIFA World Cup anthem. The two never got married but they do have two children together, Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7.
Recently, Pique has been seen out partying in Barcelona without Shakira which made fans wonder where their relationship was sitting. Multiple reports have suggested that Shakira found Pique sleeping with another woman.

Shakira posted a picture on Mothers Day without Pique where the caption said “With one kiss they can cure it all and make it worth your while to keep fighting for them.” Which is pretty cryptic if you ask me!
Reports from two journalists from the El Periodico, a Spanish newspaper, affirm that Pique was meeting with a young blonde girl aged 20, who is a student and an event hostess in Barcelona.
