Tennessee Titans GM Responds to Question About Trading WR A.J. Brown

NFL receivers continue to hold their teams hostage.

Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown is the latest unhappy wide receiver to do some social media scrubbing, which means he’s looking for a new deal. Of course that can also lead to trade requests, as we’ve seen with Deebo Samuel in San Fran. Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson was asked if the Titans would be willing to trade A.J. Brown.

Robinson noted that they are not looking to trade Brown and they want him in a Titans uniform for seasons to come.

Via NFL.com:

“I do not foresee that happening,” he responded.

“We’ve had some discussions with his reps,” Robinson said of contract talks. “When he was here a couple weeks ago, I talked to him. We’re working through that. Not going to get into any details with contract negotiations — never have really done that. But we’ve made it public about how we feel about A.J. and how we want him to be a part of this football team.”

Time will tell just how badly they want to keep Brown in a Titans uniform.

You either pony up or try to get something significant in return. Best of luck.
