Multiple Cars Destroyed as Tailgate Fire Erupted Outside Miami Dolphins Hard Rock Stadium

The NFL season started out pretty hot in Miami.

The Miami Dolphins won their home opener against the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon. Tyreek Hill, making his Miami Dolphins debut after the team traded for him during the offseason, led Miami’s receivers with eight receptions for 94 yards. While the action on the field unfolded, smoke appeared outside the stadium. Several vehicles caught fire outside Hard Rock Stadium during the first half of the game. Large puffs of dark smoke could be seen on the east side of the stadium, but no injuries were reported.

Check out the videos below:

At least eight cars were destroyed in the fire. All indications are that the fire was the result of an abandoned tailgate. Just an incredibly unfortunate event.

Here are a bunch more videos to watch:

Tua Tagovailoa passed for 270 yards and a touchdown, and the Miami Dolphins provided an early look at their ability to contend in the division as they beat Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots 20-7.

The good news is that seeing the Dolphins lose in person will never hurt that badly again. No matter what the result on the field is, if you get to the parking lot and your car is still there to drive home that’s a victory.

Just imagine if the Dolphins lost and then you find out your car got torched….
