Justin Fields Betting Odds & Fantasy Football Ranking Following Impressive Preseason Showing

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is getting fans all riled up ahead of the season.

In what was likely his cleanest performance as a professional, Fields turned in a dandy in his last preseason appearance on Friday night.

Playing the entire first half against the Browns, Fields completed 14 of 16 passes for 156 yards and three touchdowns.

After the performance, let’s take a look at some of the Bears quarterback’s long shot adds to win some hardware this season, per DraftKings.

Justin Fields Betting Futures:

  • Offensive Player of the Year: +10000

Given his ability to run the ball, fantasy football players are understandably wondering if the Bears QB could be worth a late-round waiver in upcoming drafts.

Justin Fields Fantasy Football Ranking:

Per our Stokastic fantasy football cheat sheet, Justin Fields slots in as a top 10 fantasy QB in a full, PPR league. He currently ranks in the 10th spot on our list.

After the nearly perfect game against the Browns, Fields showed confidence that his offense can prove some people wrong this season despite not having many household names.

“I think it’s just execution on all parts,” Fields said via the Bears website. “I think the o-line did a great job protecting today, I told them that multiple times. The receivers did a great job with scramble drill just running the right routes, the right depth and stuff like that. So again just protection-wise, running the football and that’ll open everything up with our play-action and bootleg plays.

As it stands, the Bears have some young talent surrounding Fields with receiver Darnell Mooney, running back David Montgomery, and tight end Cole Kmet. But still, everyone in the Bears organization knows that the team will only go as far as Justin Fields can take them.

“I just think [Fields] is getting better,” coach Matt Eberflus said. “Like I said the other day, he’s a young player, he needs experience. I think this was game-like experience for him that he needed to have. He took a big step forward for him and for our football team just getting comfortable, operating the offense and doing his thing. I thought he did that tonight.”
