Dana White Hints At Massive Fight For The Summer

Dana White is known to tease some pretty big fights, but a Jon Jones – Stipe Miocic “makes sense” for this summer is a very big tease.

UFC’s Dana White was at it again this weekend hinting that we may finally see Jon Jones make his return to the octagon this summer.

Jones has not competed since defeating Dominick Reyes in a unanimous decision at UFC 247 in February of 2020.

Stipe Miocic, on the other hand, hasn’t fought since being knocked out by bone crusher Francis Ngannou in March of 2021.

White was also asked by TMZ about Conor McGregor and when we may see him make his return to the octagon. He said that isn’t thinking about any potential match-up until McGregor is cleared and 100%.

I would suspect we see McGregor moving up to a weight class to 170 to see what he can do there as he currently seems to be bulking up by all accounts of his social media activity.

It’s a fun tease considering Jon Jones tweet earlier this month hinting at a comeback in the summer time.

It wouldn’t surprise anyone to see Jones go up to heavyweight as he has also long hinted that he wanted to comeback and be a double champ. While he may not hold the light-heavyweight belt at this moment, one has to think this would be a huge comeback story.

Jones has also been vocal about getting a big pay-day for him to comeback, and a main even against Stipe would be a great paycheck.
