CeeDee Lamb Injury: Receiver Admits ‘Clown Sh-t’ To Blame For Being Sidelined

Do they Dallas Cowboys have to reign in CeeDee Lamb’s off-field activity a little bit?

This week, the star receiver sent Cowboys nation into a panic after it was revealed that he was sitting out of Training Camp with a foot injury.

When asked how he hurt his foot, Lamb admitted that it was some “clown sh-t”

Per Cowboys writer Clarence Hill Jr:

“Talked to CeeDee Lamb. Has a cut on his foot that required stitches. Wouldnt say how it happened. Just begrudgingly said clown stuff.”

Luckily for Cowboys fans, the initial reports are that there if no long-term worries about CeeDee Lamb’s foot injury.

“Foot issue is not considered serious for Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb. Not structural, person familiar with issue said. The term “injury” may even be too strong. No long-term concern,” Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News tweeted out after practice on Wednesday.

Earlier in the offseason, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy admitted that there will be an added emphasis on getting CeeDee Lamb the ball this season.

“CeeDee’s clearly at the top of the list. You got to get the ball to your playmakers. Ball distribution is a constant focal point for us when we talk offensive football. We talk about how many touches we want the perimeter players to have every game,” said McCarthy, via On3. “Clearly whoever plays the flanker position is going to be in a primary situation where he’s going to be the number one read in a lot of progressions. He’s definitely ready for that opportunity.”

Luckily for Mike McCarthy and Cowboys nation, CeeDee Lamb should be fully recovered from his foot injury in the near future. But he might want to start cutting it out with the “clown sh-t”.
