Tom Brady hasn’t even been retired for very long.
But that didn’t stop the NFL from making its pitch for Tom Brady to return to to the NFL. During Super Bowl Sunday, Tom Brady posted a screenshot of his Super Bowl LVI calendar reminder to Twitter, and it got plenty of attention.
Even the NFL had to chime in on it using their Twitter account:
“There’s always next year…” the NFL’s official handle tweeted:

Tom Brady played in five of the last seven Super Bowls, so it definitely was a bit weird not seeing him out there.
Brady left all options on the table in an appearance on his “Let’s Go!” podcast this offseason.
“You know, I’m just gonna take things as they come,” Brady said. “I think that’s the best way to put it, and … you never say never. At the same time, I know that … I feel very good about my decision. I don’t know how I’ll feel six months from now … It most likely won’t (change). But I try to make the best possible decision I can in the moment, which I did this last week. And, again, I think it’s not looking to reverse course; I’m definitely not looking to do that. But (at) the same time, I think you have to be realistic that you never know what challenges there are gonna be in life.”
It’s hard to think Tom will never play again, but at his age, a comeback doesn’t look likely.
But you can’t ever count out Tom Brady.
