Tyron Woodley Talks About ‘Taking a Dive’ in Jake Paul Fight

Tyron Woodley is finally being honest about his fight with Jake Paul.

The former MMA fighter got cold clocked by Paul in their fight, quickly becoming an internet meme.

Some felt that the whole the fight was fixed, and that Woodley was just cashing in by taking a dive.

Woodley appeared on The MMA Hour and talked about taking a dive in that now-infamous fight against Jake Paul.

“Yeah, I took a mother***ing dive but it wasn’t on purpose,” he said.

“That mother****er hit me with some sh*t [laughs]. I just feel like this, be real, man. People resonate with real. Remember the time when Sean Sherk was being accused of steroids and he got popped with the drug test and he was saying somebody put it in the supplement, and we never forgave him?

“When Chael Sonnen popped a positive test he said, ‘That’s it? That must’ve been a bad day.’ He went into it and we never brought it up again. People f**k with realness and they fuck with being authentic.”

That said, Woodley did acknowledge that he and Paul have become business partners.

“Yeah, I’ve been talking to him,” Woodley added. “We’ll talk every day. We gonna do some business. We was already business partners. He didn’t pay me to let him fucking knock me out. No amount of money can say, ‘Hey, let me knock you the fuck out bro.’ No, I’m not doing that.”

Pretty sketchy and confusing, business partners?
