Not a good look for the Bears. The NFL franchise in one of the biggest markets in the NFL took another step backwards yesterday after it was revealed they signed Andy Dalton to be their QB1. In the Bears defense, they did try to acquire Russell Wilson, but ultimately it didn’t work out.
Chicago made "a very aggressive pursuit" of Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, per sources, and the Bears were told that Seattle is not trading him at this time.
The Bears were one of four teams Wilson's agent named as a place of interest. Now Chicago has an agreement with Andy Dalton.

So the Bears were left with little choice at QB. They signed Andy Dalton. Apparently odds makers weren’t that thrilled, as the Bears’ Super Bowl odds actually decreased with the signing:
With the addition of Andy Dalton, the Bears Super Bowl odds at William Hill go from 40/1 to….50/1!

Dalton isn’t the worst QB, but he surely isn’t going to lead your team to a Super bowl. The very fact that the Bears odds decreased is all you need to know.
Bears fans better get ready for another craptastic season.
